Job summary

Appian is seeking a Technical Delivery Manager to lead agile technology engagements and drive growth in strategic accounts from its HQ in McLean, VA. You will manage multi-disciplinary teams, work with sales, and guide executives with business-focused solutions.

A TS/SCI-level background is valued, along with 5+ years in agile delivery and a tech-focused degree. You’ll partner with customers, architects, and product designers to build roadmaps and business cases that demonstrate tangible impact.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a book of business with financial management tools and metrics.
• Proven agile delivery leadership on enterprise scale technology programs, including collaboration with architects and product designers.
• Ability to align customer’s strategic goals with technology, develop roadmaps and business cases.
• Experience with value selling methods and creating compelling business benefits.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with stakeholders and buyers.
• Strong communication skills; comfortable in ambiguity and driving results.
• Willingness to travel; 20% or less annually to support customer engagement.
• Active Government Top Secret Clearance

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver agile technology engagements for Appian customers.
• Collaborate with front-line sales to drive growth in strategic accounts and integrated deals.
• Oversee project management, risk management, and impediment removal in engagements.
• Work with architects and product designers to design and deliver compelling solutions.
• Engage in account strategy, demand generation, and relationship building with customers and partners.
• Provide trusted advice and measurable results to ensure customer success and growth.
