Job summary

Electric Power Engineers, LLC is seeking a Technical Business Development Strategist – Distribution to bridge engineering expertise with market strategy for opportunities in Distribution Planning, Design, and Grid Modernization.

You will engage utility leaders, translate client challenges into EPE solutions, and develop coordinated engagement plans with Distribution leadership and the broader Business Development organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in electric utility industry or power systems.
• Strong credibility with utility engineers and executives.
• Ability to develop scopes, proposals, and client deliverables.
• Willingness to travel and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Bridge utility practice with market strategy to identify opportunities in Distribution Planning, Design, and Grid Modernization.
• Engage utility leaders as credible technical partners and translate challenges into EPE solutions.
• Develop target client lists and account strategies with Distribution leadership.
• Support proposal strategy, scopes of work, and bid/no-bid discussions.
• Represent EPE at industry events and share market intelligence.
