Job summary

The Planet Group is seeking ambitious Business Development professionals to scale the Technology division nationally. You will identify new business opportunities, develop long-term client relationships, and coordinate with delivery teams to match top candidates with client needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required.
2–5+ years of new business development experience in technology staffing.
Proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and exceed sales targets.
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with senior stakeholders.
Strong business acumen and problem-solving ability.
A driven, self-starting attitude with a commission-driven mindset.
Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute sales strategies to generate leads and close new business.
Build and manage relationships with hiring leaders and key decision-makers.
Drive all aspects of the consultative sales process including prospecting and negotiations.
Collaborate with delivery teams to align submissions with client needs.
Stay informed of market trends and competitive activity.
Work cross-functionally to expand service offerings and identify upsell opportunities.
Operate with independence while engaging suitable clients.
