Job summary

Peraton is seeking a seasoned Product Line Manager to drive a complex program with federal customers and cross-functional teams. You will lead staffing, manage subcontractors, and ensure progress against milestones while aligning technical and business goals.

Ideal candidates have extensive program management experience, strong communication, and a background in IT initiatives, cloud, and cybersecurity. A VA relationship and public trust readiness are highly valued in this role.

Qualifications

• 18 years of experience, may have management experience.
• Program/Project management experience; up to 10 years may include military command leadership roles.
• Program Management experience with the Department of Veteran Affairs.
• Experience managing federal contracts over $400M.
• Working knowledge of VA processes, programs, and policies.
• Excellent representational, oral, and written communication skills.
• Superior organizational and interpersonal skills for government interfaces.
• Experience managing multiple IT projects with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with software development, infra modernization, cloud migration, cybersecurity, or enterprise IT initiatives.
• US Citizenship and ability to hold Public Trust.
• Preferred: PMP, SAFe/Agile, VA Public Trust, cloud environments (AWS GovCloud/Azure Gov), ITIL/ITSM, DevSecOps, CI/CD, and federal contracting familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day progress of a multifaceted program with government customer, management, staff, and partners.
• Lead and mentor staff; direct work of employees and subcontractors across technical and administrative areas.
• Oversee staffing plans, recruitment, interviews, and hiring to support contract operations.
• Monitor contract, subcontract, and funding; guide forecasting of program financial performance.
