National Commercialization and Translation Institute (NCTI) seeks a Commercialization Director to shape a first-of-its-kind national initiative funded by the NSF. You will evaluate market opportunities, guide commercialization planning, and connect companies with resources to accelerate growth and investment readiness.
This leadership role requires an entrepreneurial mindset and a track record advancing technology commercialization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Extensive experience working with startups and venture ecosystems.
- Experience advising founders on commercialization planning and funding readiness.
- Ability to build ICPs, milestone planning, and investor introductions.
Responsibilities
- Lead cohort onboarding and provide input to the national solicitation and reviewer rubric.
- Lead diagnostic triage and individualized commercialization plans.
- Deliver concierge support and manage the portfolio with embedded leads and resource matching.
- Support governance and milestone accountability with milestone-verification materials.
