Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking a Tax Managing Director in Dallas, TX. The role requires deep industry tax knowledge and leadership to advise clients on complex tax matters, manage engagements, and oversee compliance with tax regulations.

As a senior member of the office leadership, you will supervise teams, develop tax strategies, and serve as the primary contact for clients and regulators, while collaborating on business development and client relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics required.
• Masters in Accountancy or Taxation preferred.
• CPA certification, Attorney (admitted) or EA (or equivalent) required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise engagements and ensure client service per TQM.
• Advise clients on tax implications and strategies to minimize taxes.
• Coordinate with leadership on filing and IRS/state agency queries.
• Mentor associates and managers and review work.
