Job summary

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools seeks a Recruiter, Talent Acquisition (Alternative Licensure Recruiter) to lead full lifecycle recruiting under general supervision. The role partners with the Talent Acquisition Director and TAPM to develop local and national plans, source talent, and attract top candidates for CMS.

The position requires coordinating with hiring managers, screening applicants, and managing offers and onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all state, federal, and local laws, policies, and procedures
• Provide consultative recruiting services including research, market intelligence, sourcing, and managing the end-to-end process
• Develop plans related to staffing, hiring, and interviewing
• Develop a pool of qualified applicants; follow up with direct leads to create a viable pool of instructional and non-instructional candidates for the CMS workforce
• Conduct initial screening of all applicants and assist in the interview and selection process; assess candidates for qualification match, cultural fit, and compatibility to hire the best talent
• Assist in obtaining references, writing and sending rejection letters, and preparing offer packages and orientation information
• Work closely with hiring managers to assess recruiting plan effectiveness and implement improvements
• Develop and maintain a network to source qualified talent via internet, social networks, referrals, job fairs, etc.
• Provide complete and accurate information to candidates about CMS onboarding and workforce requirements
• Maintain and track measurable applicant and interview data
• Implement college recruiting initiatives and collaborate with colleges; present and attend student group meetings
• Partner with Talent Acquisition Director & TAPM to meet hiring goals across markets
• Post openings on various venues, including internet sources and social networking sites
• Perform related work as assigned or required
