Job summary

SLR Consulting (Americas) is seeking a seasoned recruiter to deliver full-cycle recruitment support to teams across Canada and the United States. Reporting to the Americas Talent Acquisition Manager, you will advise hiring managers, source candidates, and manage offers and negotiations.

You will collaborate with a global TA team, stay current on employment laws, assist with salary benchmarking, and help implement HRIS systems such as Workday.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience.
• 2+ years recruiting in the environmental services/engineering/mining industries.
• An understanding of the national recruitment landscape, and experience recruiting across Canada and the US.
• Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other tools to source and attract passive candidates.
• Experience with Workday is an asset.
• Proficiency in Spanish is a significant asset.
• Based in Ontario with flexible work options.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the business and become a trusted advisor to hiring managers.
• Provide recruitment services across multiple service lines and technical disciplines.
• Utilize various networks and online platforms to engage and secure candidates that fit the role requirements and values of SLR.
• Assist with offer negotiations and provide compensation advice.
• Keep up to date with employment legislation relevant to recruitment across Canada.
• Assist with salary benchmarking and identifying/reporting market trends.
• Assist with talent sourcing strategies and plans to increase the pipeline of talent for future business growth.
• Support projects and process improvements, working with global Talent Acquisition team.
• Assist with implementation of new HRIS system (Workday).
