Job summary

Baxter International is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner in Round Lake, Illinois to lead end-to-end recruitment across multiple time zones. You will partner with hiring managers, HR Business Partners and TA colleagues to source, screen, present and hire top engineering and technical talent.

You will drive recruiting marketing, stakeholder alignment and candidate experience, while managing requisitions in real time.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years working in Talent Acquisition.
• Experience recruiting engineering or technical positions, preferred.
• Previous experience in full cycle recruiting.
• Proven capability in effectively managing concurrent hiring priorities and partners at different stages of the recruitment lifecycle, without impacting delivery quality and timelines.
• Proven ability in building strong relationships and grow to be an advisor to your partners for the purposes of improving future hiring outcomes.
• Experience conducting behavioral based interviews for a variety of roles and successful use of assessment methodologies to facilitate ‘right first time’ hiring.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and proven experience in business partnering, ideally within an in-house environment.
• Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Proficient in using recruiting technologies (ATS and CRMs) and direct sourcing tools and techniques.
• Previous experience working in a transformative environment with an ability to deal effectively with multiple, potentially conflicting priorities and ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruiting activities through to successful hire with a strong focus on direct, candidate identification and sourcing of talent.
• Collaborate with Hiring Manager to create impactful advertising, driving engagement across social media, talent identification and headhunting and proactive solicitation of referrals.
• Accountable for effective use of recruitment marketing and branding materials to engage and communicate with internal and external talent.
• Provide meaningful, market intelligence and recruiting insights to the business and HR, demonstrating your value as a trusted advisor.
• Deliver an engaging candidate experience by understanding motivators and adjusting approach to manage situations.
• Showcase recruiting skills, motivate and guide team members to support screening, presenting candidates, conducting interviews, and making hires.
• Understand and accurately representing Baxter’s total compensation philosophy during offers.
• Train candidates on preparation for selection stages and timely feedback following local regulations and processes.
• Accountable for correctly managing requisitions through to completion including real-time system updates.
• Collaborate with the business to inform talent pipelining strategy.
