Job summary

Old Republic Commercial Risk is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead full life-cycle recruiting for our corporate office and assigned region. You will source, screen and interview candidates for insurance-related and corporate roles, ensuring compliance and competitive offers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
• 2+ years of full life-cycle recruitment experience in a corporate setting; insurance industry experience preferred.
• Experience using sourcing tools and databases; LinkedIn Recruiter preferred.
• SHRM certification (PHR or SPHR) preferred.
• Experience using ATS and HRIS; proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel as needed and come to the office 2–3 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Implement and administer a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy focused on quality, response time and cost effectiveness.
• Source, screen and interview candidates for insurance-related positions and corporate functions.
• Conduct pre-employment assessments and screenings in compliance with policies; advise management on compliance.
• Determine appropriate compensation using corporate guidelines; manage salary negotiations, offers and onboarding.
• Develop active and passive candidate pipelines through research, networking and screening.
• Establish relationships with colleges, professional associations and industry contacts to identify candidates.
• Provide sourcing support to TA team members and coach management on hiring to improve effectiveness.
• Review job specifications and understand business operations to maximize recruitment efforts.
• Meet with management to understand staffing models and growth projections; identify internal career paths.
