Job summary

Sentara Health in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist (Flex Position) to partner with hiring managers and HR Business Partners. You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle with a focus on sourcing, candidate engagement, and delivering high-quality talent across multiple business units.

This flex role provides coverage during planned and unplanned absences and may involve travel across Virginia and North Carolina.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of Human Resources experience with a bachelor’s degree, or four (4) years of equivalent experience with a High School Diploma or GED required.
• Three to five (3-5) years of recruiting experience strongly preferred.
• Healthcare recruiting experience strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting high-volume recruitment and hard-to-fill positions.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for positions across assigned business areas.
• Partner with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to identify current and future hiring needs.
• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to attract diverse, high-quality candidates.
• Screen, interview, assess, and recommend candidates for employment opportunities.
• Attend recruitment events and represent Sentara at talent attraction initiatives across Virginia and North Carolina.
