Job summary

The City of Corvallis is seeking an HR Recruitment professional to research, develop, and implement effective recruitment and selection strategies. You will source diverse candidates, manage recruitment systems, and coordinate interview processes and onboarding for current and future staffing needs.

Responsibilities include collaborating with hiring managers, maintaining compliant records, and delivering timely applicant communications.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in human resources, public administration or related field; Bachelor's preferred.
• Three years professional HR experience in sourcing, recruiting and selection.
• Three years computer experience with HR management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Develops, facilitates and implements all phases of the recruitment and selection process.
• Collaborates with hiring managers to ensure accurate job descriptions and hiring requirements.
• Sources qualified candidates using diverse and innovative methods.
• Serves as system administrator for recruitment management and onboarding systems.
• Coordinates interview panels, prepares questions and evaluation sheets.
• Maintains confidentiality and provides excellent customer service to applicants and managers.
