Job summary

zTrip is seeking a results-driven Recruiter to lead end-to-end recruiting efforts in Biloxi, MS. You will partner with hiring managers, build talent pipelines, and drive candidate experiences from sourcing to onboarding. This role emphasizes community outreach, events, and data-driven recruiting in a fast-paced environment.

You will guide applicants, coordinate onboarding, and help shape a strong employer brand while supporting retention initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, human resources, workforce development, or related fields.
• Strong interviewing, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience sourcing candidates through a variety of recruiting channels.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Familiarity with ATS, CRM platforms, and recruiting software.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
• Comfortable representing the company at public events and networking opportunities.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates.
• Source applicants through job boards, social media, employee referrals, networking events, and community partnerships.
• Screen applications, conduct interviews, and evaluate candidate qualifications.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective talent.
• Promote career opportunities and company benefits to potential candidates.
• Coordinate hiring events, job fairs, open houses, and recruitment campaigns.
• Maintain accurate recruitment records and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
• Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and hiring priorities.
• Guide candidates through the hiring process from application to start date.
• Coordinate pre-employment requirements, documentation, and onboarding activities.
• Ensure timely communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
• Collaborate with department leaders to facilitate successful onboarding experiences.
• Identify opportunities to improve candidate engagement and onboarding completion rates.
• Conduct follow-up communication with newly hired employees.
• Support employee engagement and retention initiatives.
• Gather feedback from candidates and new hires to improve recruitment processes.
• Assist with recognition programs and culture-building efforts.
• Serve as a trusted point of contact for candidate and employee questions.
• Build relationships with workforce development agencies, colleges, universities, trade schools, and community organizations.
• Represent zTrip at career fairs, recruiting events, networking functions, and local outreach initiatives.
• Develop partnerships that create a consistent pipeline of qualified candidates.
• Act as a positive ambassador for the zTrip brand within the community.
• Track recruiting performance metrics and hiring activity.
• Maintain recruiting databases and reporting tools.
• Analyze hiring trends and recommend process improvements.
• Provide regular recruiting updates and reports to leadership.
• Support workforce planning through proactive talent pipeline management.
