Job summary

Planned Companies is seeking a Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition in Parsippany, NJ. The role partners with business leaders to attract, hire, and retain top talent across the organization and provides leadership to recruiters and the Talent Acquisition team.

The Associate Director will drive recruitment initiatives, help develop scalable hiring strategies, and collaborate with HR to improve processes, employer branding, and metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience including leadership of senior roles.
• 2+ years leading or supervising recruiting teams preferred.
• Strong knowledge of full-cycle recruiting, sourcing strategies, and employment laws.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Director of Talent Acquisition to execute the organization's recruiting strategy and workforce planning initiatives.
• Lead, coach, and develop Talent Acquisition team members, providing guidance on recruiting best practices, sourcing strategies, and candidate management.
• Manage full-cycle recruitment for exempt, leadership, and other critical positions as needed.
• Build strong partnerships with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruiting plans.
• Monitor recruiting performance metrics, including time-to-fill, quality of hire, source effectiveness, and recruiter productivity.
• Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, workflows, and candidate experience.
• Develop and implement proactive sourcing strategies utilizing job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and direct sourcing techniques.
• Support employer branding initiatives, recruitment marketing campaigns, career fairs, and community outreach events.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws, affirmative action requirements, and company hiring policies.
• Assist with vendor management, including job boards, background screening providers, staffing agencies, and recruiting technology partners.
• Partner with HR leadership to support succession planning and internal mobility initiatives.
• Assist with the implementation and optimization of applicant tracking systems and recruiting technologies.
• Prepare recruiting reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership.
• Support onboarding initiatives to ensure a smooth transition from candidate to employee.
• Stay current on labor market trends, recruiting best practices, and emerging talent acquisition technologies
