Job summary

Giordano’s seeks a Recruitment and Talent Acquisition Manager to lead end-to-end hiring and shape staffing strategies that support organizational needs. This onsite role is based in Chicago, IL and focuses on full-cycle recruiting, compliance-aware processes, and effective use of ATS tools.

You will partner with hiring managers to build pipelines, drive campus recruiting, and ensure candidate sourcing meets legal and ethical standards while delivering a strong employer brand for Giordano’s.

Qualifications

• Proven recruiting experience, including executive recruiting, technical recruiting, and high-volume recruitment environments.
• Strong negotiation skills and excellent communication with candidates.
• Familiarity with talent management platforms such as UltiPro or Kenexa BrassRing, as well as ATS platforms.
• Knowledge of employment and labor law applicable to talent management and HR compliance standards.
• Ability to source candidates using research, cold calling, social media marketing (recruitment), and other innovative channels.
• Experience with employee relations, employee orientation, employee evaluation, and succession planning is highly desirable.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail in fast-paced settings.
• Proactive relationship management skills with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive talent acquisition strategies to meet staffing requirements across all levels.
• Lead full-cycle recruiting, including candidate sourcing, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding of new hires.
• Use talent management systems and applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as UltiPro or Kenexa BrassRing to support recruiting operations.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide guidance on candidate sourcing and selection.
• Drive campus recruiting efforts and participate in job fairs to build pipelines of emerging talent.
• Perform employment law compliance checks related to HR sourcing, external recruiting, and high-volume hiring practices.
• Apply social media marketing (recruitment) to promote open roles and support employer branding across relevant platforms.
• Oversee employee orientation programs and support employee evaluation processes to support successful team integration.
• Participate in training and development activities focused on HR legal compliance, HR systems, and talent management best practices.
