Job summary

American Place Casino in Chicagoland seeks a driven Talent Acquisition Manager to own recruitment strategy and full-cycle staffing across the property, from workforce planning to offer acceptance. You will report to the Director of HR and collaborate with hiring managers to align staffing with business goals.

Lead a team of recruiters, build diverse candidate pipelines through community partnerships, manage recruiting budgets, and ensure compliant, high‑quality hiring.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressive recruiting/talent acquisition experience
• 1–2 years in a direct people management or supervisory capacity
• High-volume/mass hiring experience strongly preferred
• Experience with social media/digital recruitment marketing
• Experience building community partnerships and managing a recruitment budget
• Thorough knowledge of employment law as it relates to hiring, EEO requirements, and background checks
• Proficient in ATS and HR systems; UKG a plus; strong communication and discretion
• Bilingual a plus

Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and lead a team of HR Recruiters
• Partner with the Director of HR to develop and execute talent acquisition strategy and workforce planning
• Collaborate with hiring managers on staffing needs and role requirements
• Train and equip hiring managers on interview best practices and evaluation criteria
• Own full‑cycle recruitment from requisition through offer
• Build and maintain community partnerships to establish long‑term pipelines
• Manage relationships with job boards, staffing agencies, and events; maintain SOPs
• Partner with Brand Marketing on employer branding and social media strategy
• Plan and execute recruitment events; manage logistics and follow‑up
• Own the ATS and recruiting modules within UKG
• Manage the talent acquisition budget and report on recruiting metrics
• Ensure recruiting practices comply with laws and regulations
• Coordinate handoff of candidates to IGB licensing, onboarding, and orientation
• Other projects as assigned
