Midlands Technical College is seeking a senior HR professional to oversee employment and staffing functions, including recruitment, selection, and hiring support. You will develop recruitment strategies, collaborate with hiring managers, and ensure compliance with College policies and laws.

The role also leads HR training and professional development initiatives, focusing on supervisory and management development, records management, and credentialing across full-time, temporary, and adjunct

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR management or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and electronic recruitment systems (NEOGOV preferred).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Oversee recruitment, selection, and hiring support across the College.
• Plan and manage HR training and professional development programs.
• Assist with classification and compensation activities for vacancies
• Maintain recruitment and selection records for full-time, temporary, and adjunct positions.
• Act as backup for credentialing of faculty and adjunct staff.
• Administer NEOGOV and prepare required HR reports.
