Job summary

Paul Hastings in Boston seeks a Manager, Talent Acquisition & Development to lead the local execution of the firm’s global TA & Development strategy in Boston and Chicago. You will oversee student recruiting, attorney relations, new hire orientation, and professional development initiatives.

Collaborate with peers across offices to drive firm-wide programs, develop local training, onboarding, and performance initiatives, and support associate engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, HRM or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in a professional services or legal environment.
• 3+ years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Implement Talent Acquisition initiatives, including on-campus events and recruiting programs.
• Develop relationships with law schools, professional associations, and recruiting partners.
• Develop, execute and manage local recruiting strategies, policies, initiatives, budgets and related operations.
• Analyze recruiting trends, generate reports, and lead recommendations to enhance strategies.
• Coordinate onboarding of all new hires (attorneys and business professionals), including: notifications to stakeholders, orientation schedules; I9 processing.
• Manage, implement, and provide support to the local Associate Engagement Committee (AEC) and local training programs.
