Job summary

Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) seeks a Strategic Systems Program Protection Analyst to lead threat intelligence application and program protection within the System Realization and Resilience Group of the Force Projection Sector in Laurel, MD. You will integrate security engineering, data analytics, and behavioral science to protect strategic deterrence programs.

You will work with engineers, researchers, and sponsors to shape and advance critical Navy and Air Force systems,

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in System Security Analysis or related field with at least 5 years of intelligence or program protection experience.
  • Experience with the intelligence community, cyber operations community, data analysis, statistics, and experimental methods.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact with and lead diverse sponsors and teams.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time; active Top Secret clearance with potential TS/SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

  • Provide threat intelligence application and program protection expertise for Nuclear Triad and Strategic Deterrent systems development and protection efforts.
  • Collaborate with researchers across systems engineering, test & evaluation, physics, cognitive/social sciences, and cybersecurity.
  • Lead and direct applied behavioral science initiatives to develop measures for effectiveness across multi-domain activities.
  • Ensure quality and timeliness of technical products through rigorous practices; engage sponsors to develop new opportunities.
  • Investigate and prototype innovative technologies and software approaches to demonstrate system concepts for sponsors.
