Job summary

Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory in Laurel, MD seeks a Strategic Systems Program Protection Analyst to lead threat intelligence applications and protect development programs for U.S. Nuclear Triad and strategic deterrent systems.

You will collaborate with systems engineers, cyber security specialists, and researchers to advance program protection efforts and measure effectiveness across domains.

Qualifications

• Provide threat intelligence application and program protection expertise for sustainment and recapitalization of U.S. Nuclear Triad and Strategic Deterrent Systems.
• Work with researchers across systems engineering, test & evaluation, physics, cognitive science, social sciences, and cyber security to apply security analysis and data-driven methods.
• Lead applied behavioral science efforts in developing measures and analyses to predict effectiveness across multi-domain activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide threat intelligence application and program protection expertise to defense programs.
• Collaborate with researchers from multiple disciplines to advance program protection activities and strategic deterrence initiatives.
• Develop and apply measures for analysis of effectiveness with tools to enable predictions across domains.
• Engage sponsors to identify and develop new opportunities leveraging the group’s experience.
• Explore innovative technologies and software concepts to demonstrate system ideas for sponsors.
• Contribute to objectives that support strategic deterrence programs.
