Qualifications

• Solid grasp of linear algebra, calculus, and basic probability/statistics.
• Willingness to learn complex physical systems and to read technical documentation.
• Eligibility for Interim Secret clearance by start date with potential for Top Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Model Support: maintain and refine high-fidelity physics models of complex systems (e.g., inertial navigation, vehicle dynamics).
• Data Analysis: process real-world data from flight and ground tests to identify model discrepancies.
• Experimental Support: help design experiments and determine data requirements to validate physics hypotheses.
• Architecture Development: develop accuracy requirements, perform architectural trades, evaluate progress.
• Tool Development: contribute to, build, and automate data analysis software in C++, MATLAB, or Python.
• Technical Communication: document findings and contribute to technical reports assessing system accuracy.
