Job summary

Voyager Technologies seeks a Manufacturing & Process Technology Manager to lead the Strategic Systems manufacturing engineering and process technology team. You will define processes, automation, tooling, data and traceability to scale production with quality and schedule adherence.

You will collaborate with Operations, Quality, Design Engineering, Supply Chain and Programs to ensure manufacturability and readiness before ramp, including capital projects and MES implementations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in manufacturing, process or controls engineering in regulated environments.
• 5+ years leading engineers or technical teams.
• Experience leading NPI, line launches or production ramps.
• Capital projects management with budget ownership.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing, process and automation engineers for Strategic Systems.
• Own process technology strategy and capability improvement.
• Lead NPI and production ramp activities; develop processes and work instructions.
• Plan CAPEX, equipment qualification and handover to Operations; manage scope and budget.
• Define automation initiatives to improve throughput, yield and safety.
• Drive MES, data capture and traceability for scaling production.
• Develop capacity models, labor standards and line balancing for planning.
• Lead RCCA with Quality & Operations to reduce scrap and rework.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen to improve cost, quality, delivery.
• Support test systems and equipment in partnership with Test Engineering.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain on process capability and first article activity.
• Support audits and ensure AS9100 compliance; enable digital tooling and analytics.
• Report manufacturing metrics and risks to leadership.
