Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. in Columbia, MD is seeking a System Implementation Manager to oversee IT system deployments across the organization.

The role combines project and product management, cross-functional collaboration, and leadership of support and optimization teams for Maxim’s major applications. You will prioritize and develop implementation plans, manage budgets, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining high quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in system implementation or IT project management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile Product Management preferred.
• Excellent project and product management skills with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage system implementation projects from inception to completion.
• Analyze business requirements and design systems to meet business goals.
• Manage and lead a team of IT professionals.
• Work with vendors and external partners to ensure successful implementation.
• Develop and provide training to users on new systems.
• Oversee budget for system implementation projects and report expenditures.
• Document system specifications, implementation plans, and user manuals.
