Job summary

We are seeking an experienced Supply Planning Manager to lead our planning process and develop a strategic, proactive, and scalable approach to production, capacity, and inventory planning. This is a hands-on role balancing strategic thinking with daily operational execution in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role will own key planning activities across rough-cut capacity, labor planning, inventory, material requirements, and manufacturing yield analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive supply planning or related experience.
• Strong Excel skills and ERP/MRP experience; Power BI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the supply planning process and translate demand forecasts, customer requirements, inventory targets, and business priorities into short- and long-term production and supply requirements.
• Lead the Supply Review meeting and provide visibility into capacity, labor, materials, inventory, storage, and other potential supply constraints.
• Perform rough-cut capacity planning to evaluate production line utilization, equipment needs, labor, and capacity requirements against demand.
• Identify future capacity and labor constraints and develop scenarios to mitigate risks.
• Maintain and improve supply planning tools and master data, including routings, yields, production rates, and planning parameters.
• Analyze manufacturing yields, variances, and trends; partner with Ops, R&D and Finance to identify improvements.
• Monitor raw meat inventory, usage, incoming supply, shelf-life considerations, and overall requirements to minimize waste.
• Perform inventory and material availability analysis across raw materials, ingredients, packaging, WIP, and FG to identify shortages and corrective actions.
• Identify opportunities for pre-production and inventory builds to support launches, seasonal demand, promotions, or capacity constraints.
• Evaluate storage requirements across facilities and third-party warehouses, focusing on refrigerated and frozen storage.
• Collaborate with Demand Planning and Sales to understand changes in forecasts and demand factors.
• Establish, monitor, and report KPIs such as capacity utilization, yields, inventory levels, and material availability.
• Support budgeting and long-range planning with production, capacity, labor, inventory, and storage assumptions.
• Support external reporting requirements including sustainability and traceability.
