Job summary

Wurth-International-Trading-America is seeking a Supply Planner to maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure timely delivery. You will analyze demand, manage planning parameters, and coordinate with suppliers to mitigate shortages and risk.

Responsibilities include creating purchase orders, collaborating with Sales, Operations, and Purchasing, and supporting new product introductions. Strong analytical skills and ERP proficiency are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2+ years of product planning, manufacturing planning, or related experience.
• Supply chain certification such as APICS CPIM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze inventory, sales, forecast, and consumption data to inform inventory decisions.
• Use ERP and planning systems to maintain planning parameters, safety stock, and lead times.
• Anticipate demand influences and reduce impact on product availability.
• Create and manage purchase orders based on demand forecasts and lead times.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Operations, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Logistics.
• Support new product introductions by coordinating inventory planning.
• Monitor open purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers on delivery schedules.
• Expedite orders when needed and communicate supply constraints to stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain reports on inventory performance, shortages, and risk.
