Job summary

Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream is seeking an Operational Buyer to fulfill production plans by transforming raw and packaging material requirements into active orders under contract terms with suppliers. The role spans supplier communication, forecasting, and KPI reporting to support the FRONERI operating model.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years in a relevant purchasing role, strong Excel and negotiation skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

• Proven leadership and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of purchasing processes, contracts and cost breakdowns.

Responsibilities

• Monitor demand and supply signals; create and manage purchase orders.
• Ensure materials availability for production on schedule.
• Communicate with suppliers and internal teams; report on KPI metrics.
• Manage supplier relationships and resolve discrepancies on invoices and shipments.
• Maintain planning parameters in the system and support continuous improvement.
