Job summary

Berlin Packaging is seeking a Supply Planner to effectively manage inventory planning, focusing on minimizing costs and optimizing stock levels. This role sits in a hybrid environment at our Sales and Distribution Center Office, and requires a proactive, detail-oriented problem solver.

You will collaborate with procurement, logistics, and operations to forecast demand, process POs, and ensure timely deliveries while maintaining cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 2+ years in a supply chain or related role required.
• Familiarity with inbound transportation, logistics, and inventory preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for negotiation.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Strong time management skills; ability to prioritize and follow up.
• Operates with a sense of urgency.
• Is flexible and open to change and new ways of working.
• High energy, positive attitude, and contributes to a positive team culture.

Responsibilities

• Utilize company tools to analyze, recommend, and execute inventory optimization opportunities based on historical trends and customer forecasts.
• Process purchase orders; act as a liaison between the employees of Berlin Packaging and its suppliers.
• Confirm, follow up, and expedite orders to ensure on-time delivery.
• Resolve discrepancies and/or issues as they occur during the purchase order cycle.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Manage and schedule transportation needs.
• Support management of inter-unit stock requests and transfer entries.
• Maintain replenishment triggers to help branch optimize purchasing activities.
