Demand Planner
Location: Madison, PA
Salary: $116,800.00–$146,000.00
Responsibilities
- Own item‑level forecast: Generate accurate forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and stakeholder input.
- Analyze forecast accuracy: Use Power BI to assess accuracy, identify improvement opportunities, and optimize inventory levels.
- Present forecasts to branch leadership: Prepare and deliver forecasts for approval and alignment.
- Run continuous improvement activities: Drive initiatives to enhance forecasting processes, reduce errors, and increase efficiency.
- Utilize planning tools: Leverage Logility to manage forecasts and improve accuracy.
- Collaborate with stakeholders: Work closely with operations, sales, and supply chain teams to gather data, understand market dynamics, and align on demand forecasts.
- Model and demonstrate Berlin Values: work ethic, teamwork, loyalty, innovation, and profitability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in demand planning or a related role.
- Professional certifications in supply chain management or demand planning are preferred.
- Strong understanding of supply‑chain principles and ability to translate business requirements into demand‑planning strategies.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentations.
- Experience with planning tools such as Logility, Blue Yonder, or IBP.
- Proven ability to collaborate with sales teams and other stakeholders to communicate forecast changes and drive consensus.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving, and process orientation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and skilled in time management.
