Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions is seeking a Production Planner in the United States to manage scheduling, forecasting, and supply planning. The role leverages SAP and other approved programs to optimize manufacturing operations and inventory levels for on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business management, supply chain/operations or engineering.
• Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment with lean principles.
• Proficiency with SAP and supply planning systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for scheduling, forecasting, and supply planning.
• Collaborates cross-functionally to establish schedules that allocate resources to serve customer needs.
• Lead daily planning meetings with manufacturing operations and coordinate downtime and changeovers.
• Sequence schedules to maximize output and minimize changeovers while considering customer priority.
• Provide accurate lead times to Customer Service and Sales.
• Manage load leveling and highlight bottlenecks in manufacturing.
• Engage in capacity management with cross-functional teams.
• Facilitate scheduling, demand, and supply meetings with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain planning parameters in SAP and other systems and tools.
• Support the launch of new programs/products.
• Optimize inventory levels and strive for 100% on-time delivery.
