Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group in New Haven, CT seeks a Director, Supply Management for AEH. You will lead development and deployment of supply management policies, drive cost and inventory improvements, minimize supply risk, and align group-wide strategies across multiple sites.

You will manage Category Management, Supplier Quality, and Inventory/Sourcing functions, mentor teams, travel ~30% including international, and partner with site teams to drive performance and compliance with EH&S policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Management, Business, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years in full-cycle supply chain management including procurement and logistics.
• Experience leading in a multi-site, matrixed environment and influencing without authority.
• Lean/Six Sigma, data analytics, and inventory management proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and deployment of supply management policies across AEH.
• Establish supplier terms and drive improvements in payment terms, cost, and inventory.
• Minimize supply risk and ensure EH&S compliance.
• Oversee all AEH supply chain activities including logistics, materials management, and scheduling.
