Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Med Tech is recruiting for a Planning Transformation Lead to be located in Irvine, California. This role supports a strategic supply chain transformation, overseeing a new distribution hub and expansion of a multi-node network.

You will partner with Supply Chain Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, Customer Service, IT, and Distribution Operations to design inventory and replenishment strategies, driving seamless deployment and supply continuity throughout the transformation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Materials Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in supply chain, planning, inventory management, or related functions.
• Medical device, pharmaceutical, consumer products, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with MRP, S&OP, order management, and planning processes preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
• Understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and interdependencies preferred.
• Effective communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query) and proficiency in PowerPoint and Word.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement DRP processes across multiple distribution centers and hubs.
• Analyze inventory levels, safety stock, and replenishment parameters for the future-state network.
• Support inventory positioning and deployment decisions to optimize product availability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define planning requirements and operational readiness.
• Support cutover planning, inventory transition, and post-launch stabilization.
• Identify risks and mitigation strategies during transformation.
• Develop scenario analyses to support project decisions through planning and deployment phases.
