Job summary

KLA is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist in Milpitas to own supplier relationships and ensure material readiness for NPI, Engineering and Production programs. You will drive supplier performance, mitigate risks, and coordinate with Planning, Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality to ensure uninterrupted supply.

You will manage back-office procurement activities in SAP, oversee PO processing, supplier onboarding and reporting, and lead cross-functional reviews to keep programs on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Materials Management, or Supplier Management.
• Experience with SAP, ERP systems, ENOVIA, PLM systems, and supply chain analytics tools.
• Strong supplier management, negotiation, and escalation management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own supplier relationships for assigned suppliers and commodities.
• Lead supplier communications, performance reviews, escalations, and corrective action plans.
• Develop and execute supplier recovery plans for delivery, quality, capacity, and lead-time challenges.
• Provide direction to the HCL back-office procurement team.
• Monitor material availability, open orders, and supplier commitments to prevent shortages.
• Coordinate risk resolution with Planning, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality.
• Review operational metrics and ensure timely closure of transactional activities.
