Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Dulles, VA is seeking a Manager 1 Supply Chain Programs to lead end-to-end material strategy and subcontract management for a program portfolio. The role is onsite with a 9/80 schedule and travel up to 25%.

You will coordinate across PMO, Subcontracts, Engineering, Quality, and Finance to meet commitments. Ideal candidates bring 6+ years in supply chain/program management, strong Excel skills, and the ability to drive cost and schedule performance while

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum 6 years in supply chain, program management, or procurement.
At least 2 years of lead or supervisory experience.
Knowledge of procurement and subcontract execution workflows.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

Plan end-to-end material strategy and supply chain plans for programs.
Lead cross-functional teams to meet procurement milestones.
Monitor subcontract execution against SOW requirements and baselines.
Develop risk mitigation plans for supplier performance and material availability.
Provide financial forecasting and cost tracking for material and subcontract obligations.
Support proposals with basis of estimates and cost analyses.
Prepare executive-level briefings on supply chain risks and opportunities.
Drive continuous improvement using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
