Job summary

RECARO Aircraft Seating Americas is seeking a seasoned Purchasing professional to drive the SP/PSC program, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and optimize the supply chain for development and customization projects.

You will oversee long‑term sourcing strategies, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery of critical parts across global suppliers while partnering with engineering and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or Engineering
• 8 years of experience in Purchasing, Materials Management, Supply Chain, or related field
• 5+ years in a customer-facing role; extensive knowledge of aircraft seats
• 2 years of SAP experience
• PMP Certification is preferred

Responsibilities

• Project Management Supply Chain: purchasing representative for all OEBs incl. definition and agreement of lead times and risks.
• Planning of all purchasing activities, critical parts, milestones, lead times for dedicated projects.
• Reporting of current projects status and corrective actions to ensure SP target realization.
• KPI status overview incl. tracking acc. to SP / SPS Shop Floor Management process.
• Assurance of raw material availability at suppliers in cooperation with involved departments.
• Implementation of logistics concept for all concerned parts and suppliers.
