Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Eight+ years of aerospace procurement or supply chain experience on complex programs.
• Knowledge of aerospace materials, supplier ecosystems, negotiation, contract management, project management tools, and procurement systems.
• Certifications like PMP or CPIM, international procurement experience, regulatory knowledge, ERP/SAP skills, and strong communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement program procurement strategies aligned with objectives, costs, supplier capabilities, and milestones.
• Lead supplier selection, negotiate contracts, manage performance, monitor costs, and ensure supply continuity.
• Represent Supply Chain within project teams, collaborating with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Program leadership to resolve procurement challenges.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensure regulatory and contractual compliance, and report procurement metrics and risks to senior leadership.

Role Overview: Lead procurement execution and supplier project management for aerospace programs to ensure compliant, cost-effective, high-quality supplier deliverables aligned with technical, regulatory, and schedule requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Program Procurement Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with program objectives, cost targets, supplier capabilities, and milestones.
• Supplier Management, Contracts & Cost Control: Lead supplier selection, negotiate contracts, manage supplier performance, monitor market and costs, and ensure supply continuity.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Represent Supply Chain within project teams, collaborating with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Program leadership to resolve procurement challenges.
• Risk & Compliance Management: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensure regulatory and contractual compliance, and report procurement metrics and risks to senior leadership.

• At least eight years of aerospace procurement or supply chain experience, managing complex programs with proven results.

Decision-Making

Recommend supplier selections, sourcing approaches, and contract terms; prioritize supplier issues; influence recovery, cost-control, and tradeoff strategies.

Work Environment

Primarily office-based with cross-functional collaboration; travel approximately 25%, including supplier site visits and urgent activities; flexibility for overtime as needed.
