Job summary

Singer Group is seeking a Sr. Manager, Supply Chain Planning to lead and develop a team responsible for ensuring material fulfillment to support production. You will partner with internal stakeholders and suppliers from PO initiation to part delivery, mentoring the team and tracking key KPIs.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, continuous improvement, and risk management to safeguard schedule, cost, and quality objectives in a fast-paced manufacturing context.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of supply chain professionals and serve as the tactical escalation point to support supply chain needs and procurement.
• Develop and measure department metrics, deliver status reports, act with urgency for crucial requirements.
• Lead impact assessments and coordinate efforts across supply and operations teams.
• Establish mitigation strategies for top supply chain risks.
• Build cross-functional teams and champion continuous improvement to meet cost, quality, and delivery goals.
• Provide updates on status and critical supply issues to the team.
• Ensure purchase orders are issued to qualified suppliers at correct pricing and MOQs per sourcing direction.
• Provide bills of materials (BOMs) and other information to suppliers for non-turnkey orders.
• Work with suppliers to align on PO due dates.
• Create visibility of material position with line of balance, shortage, and clear-to-build reports.
• Identify part supply constraints that may impact production and create mitigation plans escalation.
• Execute risk management analyses using past performance, demand vs. supply, and lead time considerations.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration and apply lean and continuous improvement principles.
• Create and maintain a safe and environmentally responsible working environment.
