Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent with 4+ years in purchasing or sourcing.
• Experience leading supply planning teams and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong problem solving and Lean/Six Sigma mindset.
• Knowledge of ERP systems; SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Supply Planners to ensure consistent execution of planning processes and workload balance.
• Establish work priorities based on material requirements, business needs, supply constraints, and delivery commitments.
• Monitor team performance, planning effectiveness, and service levels; provide guidance on issue resolution and escalation management.
• Foster collaboration across Planning, Purchasing, Sourcing, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, and Inventory to support timely supply requirements.
• Guide planning activities related to orders, rescheduling, consolidation, substitution and inventory utilization to maintain material availability.
• Coordinate resolution of material constraints by working with purchasing, sourcing, logistics, suppliers, and operations to identify recovery actions.
• Monitor material readiness, delivery performance, inventory health and planning exceptions; escalate significant risks.
• Drive continuous improvement of planning processes, data quality, reporting and inventory performance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of planning processes through analysis and stakeholder feedback.
• Identify opportunities for improving lead time, cost reduction and on-time delivery.
• Ensure adherence to supplier agreements/contracts.
• Reduce wasted time, money and resources.
• All other duties as directed by management.
