Job summary

Sunrisefoods is seeking a Master Planner to oversee end-to-end planning for a defined business segment. You will align demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, and position management with Commercial teams to optimize service levels and working capital.

The role requires strong analytical capabilities, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to balance commercial objectives with operational constraints, including ERP system optimization and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 5+ years in supply chain planning, demand or operations planning.
• Experience in agriculture, food manufacturing, commodity trading, or related industries preferred.
• APICS/CPIM or similar certification considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end planning process for an assigned product or business segment.
• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts in collaboration with Sales and Commercial teams.
• Manage supply planning activities to ensure product availability while optimizing working capital and inventory levels.
• Oversee inventory planning and replenishment strategies across the supply chain.
• Manage commodity and position planning to support business objectives and mitigate risk exposure.
• Serve as the primary supply chain contact and strategic partner for the Commercial team.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, operations, and customer relationship teams to align execution plans.
• Analyze supply chain data and planning trends to identify risks, opportunities, and process improvements.
• Monitor KPIs including forecast accuracy, inventory turns, fill rates, and service levels.
• Develop scenario analyses and contingency plans to address supply disruptions, demand variability, and market changes.
• Support S&OP processes through reporting, analysis, and cross-functional coordination.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to planning systems, tools, and processes.
• Assist with implementation and optimization of ERP and planning systems.
• Ensure accurate reporting and timely communication of supply chain risks and opportunities.
