Job summary

Verdesian Life Sciences is seeking an experienced Sr. Supply Chain Planner to own end-to-end Demand & Supply Planning.

You will produce Master Demand & Supply Plans, lead the SIOP review, and ensure material availability while optimizing inventory and throughput. You will collaborate with production facilities, contract manufacturers, procurement, customer service, and sales/marketing to align plans, drive performance, and report planning metrics such as forecast accuracy and OTIF.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• 7+ years in purchasing, production planning/scheduling, or materials management.
• Experience with computerized MRP/ERP systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with BI tools such as Power BI.
• Experience leading or coordinating the work of others, formally or informally.
• Proven ability to present planning recommendations and trade-offs to senior leadership.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% to manufacturing facilities and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Own demand plans in the ERP system and lead consensus forecast development.
• Monitor demand data accuracy and resolve demand-related issues quickly.
• Lead weekly SIOP to identify supply and demand risks and drive actions with leadership and teams.
• Build Master Production Plan and generate material requirements plan (MRP).
• Collaborate with plant operations on production scheduling for bulk and finished goods.
• Coordinate Supply Review Process across commercial, purchasing, manufacturing, regulatory, logistics, and customer service.
• Identify and qualify new toll manufacturing/packaging partners with Procurement.
