Job summary

Renew Cannabis Co. in Freeport, IL is seeking a Supply Chain/Production Planner to translate forecasts into a feasible Master Production Schedule and align with Demand Planning, Procurement, and Operations. You will provide decision-ready outputs to the Director of Planning and leadership to enable proactive sourcing and schedule adherence.

You will also manage capacity and material planning, support ERP integrity, and drive continuous improvement within a regulated cannabis environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, operations, plant science, or a related field – Required
• Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in cannabis or CPG production, manufacturing, or a regulated industry, with at least 3 years in a senior supervisory or managerial role
• Demonstrated track record of successfully leading teams and achieving operational goals in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and communicate the Master Production Schedule (MPS) aligned with demand and constraints
• Translate demand plans into a feasible production plan and provide outputs to leadership
• Review the MPS with leadership to highlight risks and support plan adherence
• Evaluate capacity, labor availability, and sequencing; escalate issues and recommendations
• Prepare scenarios, assumptions, and tradeoff analyses for S&OP and MPS reviews
• Convert MPS to raw material and packaging requirements for procurement
• Provide forward-looking visibility into material demand and risks to procurement
• Maintain planning parameters (lead times, safety stock, reorder triggers) and seek approval
• Support ERP data integrity and continuous improvement for planning outputs
• Identify material availability risks and communicate timing, impact, options
