Job summary

Benchmark Electronics Inc is seeking a qualified Supply Chain Planner to optimize inventory across the supply chain and align with service level targets. You will collaborate with customers to understand their processes and support planning improvements that drive cost efficiencies and on-time delivery.

The role requires 5+ years in purchasing or planning with a Bachelor’s degree (or 3 years with a Master’s).

Qualifications

• Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience (purchasing or planning accounts/commodities) with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• APICS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Works with customers to understand planning systems and processes.
• Supports development of planning processes to meet department goals.
• Maintains optimum inventory levels for on-time deliveries while minimizing costs.
• Owns ERP parameters to drive planning.
• Monitors inventory levels and reports on excess and obsolete stock.
