Job summary

Benchmark Electronics Inc. seeks a Supply Chain Planner to optimize inventory across the supply chain and align with target service levels for assigned customer activity.

You will work with customers to understand their planning systems and Benchmark processes, and you will support production scheduling and supplier coordination. The role emphasizes maintaining optimal inventory, analyzing forecasts, and driving cost reduction through improved planning.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in purchasing or planning accounts/commodities.
• APICS certification preferred.
• 4-year degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Works directly with customers to gain understanding of their planning system and Benchmark processes.
• Maintains optimum inventory levels to ensure on-time deliveries and minimize costs.
• Owns and maintains ERP parameters driving component and assembly planning.
• Monitors and reports inventory levels and generates action plans to meet site goals.
• Interfaces with customers, suppliers, and internal resources for AVL choices and alternates.
