Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Supply Chain Planner (XAI/STARLINK) to join the Starlink Supply Chain Planning team in Memphis.

You will maintain BOM accuracy in MRP, manage inventory targets, and align demand signals with production schedules to meet on-time delivery goals. You will collaborate with engineering, production, and quality to minimize obsolescence and implement advanced strategies for long-term purchases and safety stock.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; 2+ years in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, material or production planning, operations or supply chain management, material cost control, or master production scheduling.
Familiarity with ERP systems and purchasing/planning functions; SQL and Power BI skills a plus.
APICS certification or Lean Six Sigma are preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain accuracy and audit bill of materials in MRP systems in preparation for production at rate.
Establish/manage inventory targets, review line of balances, align demand signals and allocations, and maintain product master data.
Mitigate risk and ensure continuity of supply by developing a robust supply plan.
Educate teams on the use of MRP and its benefits to the business.
Coordinate with engineering, production, and quality to manage changes and reduce obsolescence.
Partner with stakeholders on implementing supply chain strategies for risk mitigation and safety stock.
Proactively manage inventory to prevent stockouts while optimizing working capital.
