Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Manager, xAI (Starlink) in Memphis, TN to lead materials planning and MRP-driven supply strategies. You will drive inventory targets, ensure timely supply, and collaborate with engineering and production to minimize obsolescence and cost.

The role requires advanced or equivalent experience in supply chain, with ERP and data tools proficiency. Expect travel and onsite work at SpaceX facilities as part of a fast-moving aerospace program.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience OR a bachelor’s degree with 4+ years in purchasing, planning or supply chain.
• Experience in material or production planning and cost control.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accuracy and audit bill of materials in MRP systems for production at rate.
• Manage inventory targets, review line balances, align demand signals and master data.
• Mitigate risk and ensure on-time, quality supply fulfillment.
• Educate teams on proper use and benefits of MRP.
• Coordinate with engineering, production and quality to minimize obsolescence.
• Partner on long-term purchases and strategic safety stock.
• Proactively manage inventory to optimize working capital.
• Build strong relationships with manufacturing, engineering and supply chain.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.
• Update management and engineering on critical supply issues.
• Analyze supply chain data and report KPIs on MRP health and execution.
