Job summary

Lhoist North America is seeking a Transportation Leader to drive pricing, budgeting, and long-term supply chain planning. This role partners with Sales, Operations, and Finance to optimize freight costs and service levels across East Lime operations.

The ideal candidate has extensive SAP/BW and ERP experience, 6–10 years in supply chain leadership, and a proven track record in heavy industry logistics and optimization.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain management within heavy industry or bulk materials.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; advanced degree a plus.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead transportation pricing strategy and implementation for multiple internal teams.
• Oversee logistics budgeting and contract due diligence for rail, barge and truck.
• Develop long-term capacity investments and terminal placement studies.
• Manage S&OP processes and drive production/distribution strategy.
• Coordinate with Sales and Operations to optimize performance and costs.
• Provide customer service support and ensure compliance with transportation guidelines.
• Lead safety, quality and process improvements within the shipping functions.
