Food Management Search, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Manufacturer Supply Chain Manager responsible for managing inventory and purchasing procedures across multiple sites, determining supply needs, and supervising receiving.

You will lead staff focused on purchasing, materials management, and configuration management, coordinating with program managers to forecast customer orders and ensure on-time shipments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related experience in contract manufacturing; electronics manufacturing experience a plus.
• Supervisory experience and strong people management skills.
• Significant experience with inventory control, logistics, MRP, supply chains, contract negotiations, and purchasing.

Responsabilités

• Manage a team of Buyers, Engineering Production Services, Quoting Specialist and Proposal Administrator.
• Develop team goals/metrics and track progress, with emphasis on professional development.
• Maintain inventory levels to ensure on-time production while minimizing on-hand inventory.
• Continually drive for increased inventory turns.
• Continue programs of exploration for new suppliers and processes to achieve optimum quality, reliability, prices, continuity, and delivery.
• Provide management with accurate data/metrics to drive continuous improvement and decision making.
• Interface with Program Managers on planning and forecasting of customer orders to meet shipments.
