Job summary

Sub-Zero Group, Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee both strategic and operational sourcing pillars.

You will lead a team of Buyers and Material Planners to deliver on the brand promise through effective supplier selection, development and performance management. The role requires strong negotiation, cross-functional collaboration with NPD, Demand Planning, and Logistics, and the ability to manage supplier qualifications, contracts, and material changes to minimize risk and total

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 10–20% travel, including international travel.
• 6+ years of supply chain experience.
• Intermediate project management experience.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational savvy.
• Demonstrates creativity, technical skills, and problem-solving attributes.
• Advanced knowledge of materials and manufacturing methods/processes.
• Adept leadership for effectively managing and developing people.

Responsibilities

• Provide sourcing recommendations to New Product Development team buyers.
• Articulate the company’s requirements to supply chain partners.
• Draft and execute contractual supply agreements to ensure robust partnerships while optimizing security of operations.
• Negotiate with supply partners to optimize value.
• Collaborate with Sub-Zero Group’s Supply Chain team (NPD, Demand Planning, Import-Export, Transportation).
• Execute supplier planning with forecasting and purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Lead supplier qualification audits and supplier business assessments.
• Coordinate new material implementation to prevent disruptions and optimize total cost.
• Mentor and develop a team of Buyers and Planners.
• Track and project raw material pricing for annual spend budgeting.
• Communicate deviations to the operations plan to leadership.
