Job summary

Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove, the leading luxury kitchen appliance maker, seeks a Buyer/Planner to balance material supply with demand while pursuing department goals.

Responsibilities include negotiating with suppliers, issuing purchase orders, expediting orders, maintaining data integrity, and driving inventory turns, with CPIM knowledge and SAP familiarity preferred. Growth opportunities exist within supplier assessments and cross‑functional projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent in a related field.
• Experience with SAP and data-driven procurement is preferred.
• CPIM certification is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate with suppliers for goods and services, achieving best price and service.
• Support supplier quality initiatives and supplier quality returns.
• Analyze material requirements and issue purchase orders/releases to support the master production schedule.
• Expedite and de-expedite orders based on production or customer demand.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve inconsistencies between system data and actuals.
• Maintain system planning parameters, lead times, due dates, and safety stock.
• Communicate shortages to enable alternative plans and mitigation.
• Execute inventory reduction plans to increase turnover rate.
• Develop standard costs based on market and economic factors.
• Conduct on-site supplier facility reviews to assess qualifications.
• Execute/communicate engineering change notices to the floor.
