Job summary

Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove, a leading luxury kitchen appliance manufacturer in Goodyear, AZ, seeks a Buyer/Planner to balance supply with demand and support the master production schedule. The role involves supplier negotiations, inventory management, and cross-functional collaboration to improve turnover with autonomy.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience with SAP and CPIM (preferred).

Qualifications

• Negotiates with suppliers for goods and services, aiming for best price and service.
• Support supplier quality improvement initiatives and supplier quality returns.
• Analyze material requirements and issue PO releases/MPS orders.
• Expedite/de-expedite orders due to changes in demand.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve system vs actual data discrepancies.
• Maintain system planning parameters and data integrity for parts and services.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate with suppliers to secure best pricing and service guarantees.
• Withdraw and implement supplier quality improvement initiatives as needed.
• Issue release orders to support the master production schedule.
• Expedite or de-expedite orders based on production needs.
• Communicate potential supply shortages and coordinate contingency plans.
• Complete special projects as assigned by leadership.
