Job summary

Pacific Aero Tech, LLC is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead materials, purchasing, and warehouse operations. You will oversee planning, supplier relationships, and cross-functional coordination to meet production targets and customer expectations.

The role requires a BS degree, 5+ years in manufacturing/MRO, ERP proficiency, and strong leadership. In-person work in Kent, WA; compensation ranges from $95,000 to $120,000 yearly with federal compliance and FAA English requirement.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor of Science degree in a related field.
• 5+ years in manufacturing or MRO industrial services.
• ERP knowledge and GAAP accounting understanding.
• Must speak, read, and write English (FAA requirement).

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales, Production, and materials to develop date-driven schedules for on-time delivery.
• Liaison with all parties to ensure commitment to promised dates.
• Overcome supply chain obstacles and bottlenecks.
• Secure multiple sources for critical supplies.
• Collaborate with Sales and Engineering on a 12-month forecast and supplier alignment.
• Communicate customer instructions and allocations to ensure efficiency.
• Oversee USM and feedstock core programs for ongoing improvement.
• Develop and maintain procurement policies to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Production and purchasing to sustain optimal inventory levels.
• Lead and mentor purchasing staff to pursue continuous improvement.
• Place purchase orders in ERP and resolve PPVs for AP.
• Coordinate with logistics, finance, and product development on procurement.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers for best terms and pricing.
• Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Travel to suppliers to optimize performance and resolve constraints.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure excellence and accountability.
• Analyze purchasing data and generate reports for decision-making.
• Drive short- and long-term delivery strategies with suppliers.
• Ensure high on-time delivery and low delinquency across suppliers.
• Identify capacity risks and resolve supply risks with cross-functional teams.
• Escalate issues promptly and resolve potential problems.
• Build leadership and technical skills through real-world challenges.
